Charis (pronounced care-iss) was born on the Canadian prairie, raised in the Arabian Desert, and now finds herself somewhere in between the two—an eclectic blend of both worlds.

The daughter of a musician and a pilot, Charis has found that her parents' passions have been key factors in developing her sense of exploration, play, and fearlessness when it comes to self-expression. These attributes came in handy during her four years at York University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with Honours.

With her current focus of diving deeper into the film industry, her most notable credits include the indie award-winning short film The Water's Fine and the upcoming Netflix Original film How It Ends (scheduled to stream late summer 2018).

hen she's not busy acting up a storm, you can find her creating her own movie magic as she is currently in pre-production with her first independent feature length project entitled Uprooted.

Charis currently resides in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
